Maxillary Sinus Elevation
Surgical Procedure
If an implant is required to be placed in the upper jaw at the level of the premolars and molars, if there is not enough bone height to support the implant, maxillary sinus elevation is required.
Through this surgical procedure, bone and membrane are placed between the floor of the jaw and the sinus membrane, which moves upward in order to make space for the bone to regenerate.
